Sauna questions
Infrared or traditional sauna – what is the difference?
An infrared sauna warms your body directly with radiant panels at a gentler 120–150 °F and is ready in minutes. A traditional sauna heats the air with a rock heater to 150–195 °F, and you can pour water on the stones for steam. Hybrid models give you both.
What power does a sauna need?
Smaller infrared models plug into a standard 120V household outlet. Larger infrared, traditional and outdoor saunas need a dedicated 240V circuit installed by an electrician – each model lists its requirements, and we are happy to check your setup.
Can a sauna go outside next to my hot tub or pool?
Yes – the outdoor models have a roof and weather-resistant thermo-treated wood. Indoor models belong in a garage, basement, gym or covered space.
Can I see a sauna before I buy?
Ask us which models are on display at our stores and we will arrange a visit. We also deliver and help with setup.
